Churros con Chocolate Morning Tea

The Two Spanish Sisters hosted yet another cooking class earlier this year where we demonstrated how to make 'Churros'.

What are Churros?

Churros are spirals of fried dough often eaten at cafeterias throughout Spain for breakfast (desayuno) or afternoon tea (merienda) with coffee or hot chocolate.

The recipe and method for making churros in southern Spain does slightly vary to that of other parts of Spain.

In Malaga they are also typically called 'teheringos.’  They are also known as 'porras' in other parts of Spain.
